    Foals: Saturday Night Headliner

Bestival are more than a little pleased to welcome back one of our favourite bands, who over the last few years have blown the roof off every stage we’ve thrown at them, meaning that their transcendence to main stage headliners was really only a matter of time, a welcome and triumphant return indeed then for Foals.

    Major Lazer: UK Festival exclusive

Major Lazer should be available for free on the NHS as the cure for, well anything really. Dancehall madness of the highest order, *Diplo*’s reggae/dancehall/anything goes behemoth is a splash of day-glo on an otherwise drab musical landscape, an unstoppable force of good times, party vibes and unadulterated mayhem. Catch them on the main stage before our Sunday night headliners!

OTHER STUFF

  • Milestone-theme

Bestival 2014's theme is... Desert Island Disco!

Beached upon the warm sands of a tropical paradise our lookout on board the good ship HMS Bestival peers through the palms fringing the beach, in a clearing he sees a stone temple, and teems of bamboo and palm roofed shacks. He hears the distant sound of drums on the breeze and sees tiny tribes-people moving and shaking. And there, in the middle of it all, the source of his confusion, is a giant bloody disco ball…this, my friend, is Desert Island Disco.
