Boysnoize

Peddling a noisy (of course), pummeling and instantly likeable electro-house style, Alex Ridha quickly built up quite a name for himself remixing artists like Para One, Bloc Party and Depeche Mode (his version of Feist’s ‘My Moon My Man’ is particularly tasty), producing the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and releasing tunes (tunes for which the word “banging” was surely invented) on labels like International Deejay Gigolos, Kitsune, Output, Turbo, Datapunk and his own Boysnoize imprint.

His debut artist album, a stunning collection of caustic, abrasive electro mayhem entitled ‘Oi Oi Oi’ simply exploded on its release in 2007 which he followed this up in 2009 with second album ‘Power’, an altogether more diverse record that perfectly combined the minimal with the massive, whilst third long player 2012’s ‘Out of the Black’ raised the stakes even further, pushing the Boys Noize sound beyond the boundaries of awesomeness into the realms of maniacal electro soundclash heaven.
