Reggae Aerobics was founded in 2009 by Chrystle Perkins. After having her third child, battling with her weight, bored with traditional exercise classes and not liking gym workouts she decided to take matters into her own hands. With a natural passion to dance to Reggae music a new waistline movement was born!

Reggae Aerobics is a fun, energizing, unique class that can burn up to 750 calories per hourly session! Classes are based around each individual’s fitness abilities and focus on dance moves from the Caribbean fused with traditional aerobics. Reggae Aerobics is emphasized on fun and fitness. If you love to dance and have not tried this class yet you do not know what you’re missing!

Qualifying as a Fitness and Exercise to Music Instructor in 2009 Chrystle started her own Reggae Aerobics class. Chrystle is steadily growing her client base and has since begun to turn Reggae Aerobics into a business that puts smiles on people’s faces and assists with their fitness goals. Chrystle is a very enthusiastic lady and absolutely loves teaching Reggae Aerobics as it is great fun and she feels a sense of achievement and joy from seeing the smiles on participants faces along with the positive energy they bring.

With a growing team, the business is progressing towards recruiting and training more instructors to enable Reggae Aerobics classes to be all over the country promoting the Waistline Movement :)
