Fusing indie rock melodies and attitudes with dance rhythms and electronic surfaces, Reverend & the Makers were formed by vocalist and songwriter Jon McClure, who at the age of 25 was already a fixture on the music scene in Sheffield, England. In 2014 the band released their fourth studio album ‘ThirtyTwo’.

Produced by Youth (Primal Scream) and electronic producer James Welsh (Hypercolour), the lover’s rock-influenced single is taken from the band’s latest album ‘ThirtyTwo’. The release is the second highest chart entry ever for the band at No.13 on the Official Album Chart bringing their tally to four consecutive Top Twenty albums.
The band took its music directly to the fans through a Pledge Music pre-order campaign and by playing 32 house gigs in the living rooms of the lucky fans who’d pre-ordered the album.
