Known to the Reggae world as Robbo Ranx, Roger Robinson has grown to be the UKs biggest Dancehall selectors and one of the most enduring characters on British radio. His talent as a selector has expanded to almost every major city in the UK and Europe.
His ground breaking show Dancehall Splurt provoked one of the largest radio figures on the BBC with millions of listeners world wide, live and online, earning him in three Sony Radio Awards for the best weekly show and two best live event. Robbo has taken his talents worldwide and interviewed a variety of reggae legends on home turf and abroad, from capturing Sizzlas first ever radio interview, to exclusive one on ones with Buju Banton, Capleton and Bounty Killer to name a few.
After a short spell on Londons Choice FM, in 2002 Robbo was called to present on a new challenging project by the BBC, the black music station 1Xtra.
