Consistently present on an ever growing list of festival line ups throughout 2014, Shoot The Moon are imminently set to deliver Safety First – their long awaited fourth studio EP. To celebrate its release, April and May will see the band manically tear into a venue packed UK tour.
From their humble beginnings in a small Somerset town, the 7 piece ensemble rapidly became one of the most popular bands in the region resulting in all 1000 original copies of their debut EP ‘Get In The Van’ selling out in a few short weeks.The word quickly spread and Shoot The Moon soon landed some prominent festival appearances and support slots including the John Peel Stage at the world famous Glastonbury Festival, plus prestigious support appearances with Madness during their ‘Transport From London’ tour. Following this, the band embarked on their own UK tour alongside their second EP release ‘Skarocka.’
2013 saw the hard working band release their ‘live at the hive’ EP, followed by a long summer brimming with festivals and another successful UK tour. A highlight of this memorable summer was the distinction of becoming a headline act at Boomtown Fair 2013.
Shoot The Moon’s energetic ska sound is already leading the band back on to the festival stages as a captivating crowd favourite and as their loyal fan base is multiplying rapidly, so the band are amplifying both in presence and sound.
2014 is set to be a monumental year for Shoot The Moon and while their popularity is escalating, the band are excitedly looking forward to wherever it takes them.
